Service Usage Terms

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our website and services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. You may browse our course offerings, submit inquiries, enroll in programs, and access educational materials provided as part of your enrollment.

When using our services, you should engage respectfully with instructors and fellow students, complete coursework with academic integrity, and provide accurate information during enrollment and communication.

Our courses are designed for individual learning purposes. Commercial use of course materials, unauthorized redistribution of content, or sharing of access credentials violates these terms.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are expressly forbidden when using our services:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or restricted areas of the website
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or any harmful code that could damage our systems or other users' devices
  • Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against instructors or other students
  • Recording, copying, or redistributing course materials without explicit written permission
  • Using automated systems or bots to scrape content or interfere with website functionality
  • Impersonating instructors, staff members, or other students
  • Submitting false or misleading information during enrollment or communication

Access Requirements

To access certain features of our services, you may need to create an account or provide contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our courses independently. Individuals under 18 may participate with parental or guardian consent and supervision. You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to update it as necessary.

Account Management

Account Security

If you create an account to access course materials or student resources, you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Do not share your password with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or security breach. We cannot be held responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized account access if you have not taken reasonable steps to protect your credentials.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in prohibited activities, or demonstrate behavior that disrupts the learning environment. In such cases, you may not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid.

You may request account closure at any time by contacting us. Upon closure, you will lose access to course materials and student resources. We will process requests within a reasonable timeframe while complying with our data retention obligations.

Service Availability and Modifications

Uptime and Maintenance

We strive to maintain reliable access to our website and course materials. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service availability. The website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance that may affect service access. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice. We are not liable for any inconvenience or losses resulting from service interruptions.

Course Changes and Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify course content, schedules, or structure to improve educational quality or respond to changing industry standards. Enrolled students will be notified of significant changes that may affect their learning experience.

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen factors. If we cancel a course before it begins, you will receive a full refund of any fees paid. If cancellation occurs mid-course, you will receive a prorated refund for the remaining sessions.

Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. This includes adding or removing features, changing pricing structures, or updating course offerings. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect existing students, though some modifications may occur without advance notification.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content on our website and in our courses, including text, graphics, logos, course materials, videos, and software, is the property of Pixelcraft or our licensors. This content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Enrolled students receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course materials for personal educational purposes during their enrollment period. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

Student Work

You retain ownership of any original work you create as part of course assignments or projects. However, by submitting work for evaluation or sharing it in course discussions, you grant Pixelcraft a limited license to review, display, and use your work for educational and promotional purposes.

We may showcase exceptional student work in our portfolio or marketing materials with your permission. You can opt out of such usage by contacting us. We will not use student work in ways that would harm your reputation or misrepresent your capabilities.

Trademark Usage

The Pixelcraft name, logo, and any associated marks are our trademarks. You may not use these marks without prior written authorization. References to third-party products, services, or companies on our website do not constitute endorsement unless explicitly stated.

Payment and Refund Terms

Course Fees

Course fees are stated in Japanese Yen and must be paid in full before access to course materials is granted, unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Prices are subject to change, but enrolled students will be charged the fee in effect at the time of their enrollment.

Payment can be made through methods specified during the enrollment process. You are responsible for any transaction fees imposed by your payment provider. Failed or declined payments may result in delayed access to course materials.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under specific circumstances. If you withdraw from a course within the first week and have not accessed more than 25% of the course materials, you may receive a full refund minus any administrative fees.

After the first week, refunds are provided on a prorated basis for the remaining course duration, subject to a minimum retention fee. No refunds are available once you have completed more than 75% of the course or during the final two weeks of instruction. Each refund request is reviewed individually, and exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances.
